What to Expect

Join our crew on a marine adventure aboard a luxury sailing catamaran. We will sail for 3-4 hours every morning along the coastline of St. Vincent and will explore a new island in the Grenadines every day, followed by onshore activities of your choice. Day activities onshore include relaxing on world-renowned beaches, kitesurfing, hiking through lush, tropical forests to the summit of a volcano, dining, shopping, yoga and, Friday night Caribbean Street parties! You’ll also get a chance to snorkel through the colorful coral gardens and reefs, try stand-up paddle boarding and relax on the yacht.

We will kitesurf in the most popular kite spots at Union Island, Maureau, Tobago Cays and Carriacou islands.

The sail catamaran has 4 double cabins with all linens provided. We will cook healthy and delicious breakfasts and lunches on the boat, using the best products from local markets. Onshore, you will have the option to dine at the best local restaurants with sea views.

Itinerary

Day 1St Vincent

Your charter begins in St. Vincent’s Blue Lagoon, nestled in Calliaga’s stunning southern coast. Meet your yacht crew at marina and settle into your beautiful ocean catamaran. The marina has amazing  amenities to welcome you, including a couple of great restaurants.

After you have taken a tour of the yacht which will be your home for the next ten days and unpacked, we will head out to dinner.

Day 2 Mustique

After a delicious breakfast and safety briefing we will start our journey South. We will sail  past the awe-inspiring La Soufrière, a 4,000-foot-high active volcano, be captivated by the surrounding forests that merge into black and white-sand beaches.

The 16-mile journey to Mustique Island’s exclusive Britannica Bay is nothing short of enchanting. This privately-owned paradise is a playground for the rich and famous. Relax at Lagoon Bay or Macaroni Bay. Both these beaches are breathtaking, Macaroni being slightly wider with deep soft sand. Explore the lush nature trails by foot, bike, or horseback or dive into vibrant coral reefs for snorkelling. End the day at Basil’s Bar and Restaurant, perched over the Caribbean Sea for panoramic views.

Day 3Canouan

Discover the charming and hilly island of Canouan, dubbed the “Island of Turtles” and fast emerging as a top luxury destination in the Caribbean. Tucked away in the heart of the Grenadines, this petite island boasts picturesque bays, hidden coves, and tranquil beaches with inviting warm waters for the perfect swim.

We will pick up a mooring ball off Tamarind Bay at the island’s northern end. Protected by an extensive reef, many consider the beaches on the eastern side of the island to be the best in The Grenadines. You can visit Canouan Resort and play a round a golf at Trump International lf Club (designed by Jim Fazio). Or pamper yourself at Raffles’ Amrita Spa. If you are feeling lucky that day, you can spend the night at the Villa Monte Carlo Casino.

Day 4Mayreau

Spend half of the day kiting on the world class kite spot at the island of Mayreau. The island has 2 kite spots with narrow beaches but lots of space on the water. One is the beautiful Salt Whistle Bay, which one must experience to feel its magic.

If do not feel like kiting, watch the afternoon pass slowly by as you recline under the shade of a coconut tree and enjoy the vibe.  We will enjoy the sunset and barbecue fair with cooked lobster from “Yellow man,” a famous local beachside vendor.

Day 5Tobago Cays & Petit Tabac

You are off to paradise today! After a healthy breakfast sail to the beautiful Tobago Cays Marine Park! Sea turtles, conchs, lobsters and iguanas all take refuge in this protected area. We will anchor the yacht and spend the day kitesurfing and/or exploring the five small islands and their extensive coral reefs. The Horseshoe reef, with its turquoise waters and abundance of fish and corals is an excellent snorkeling spot where you can also swim with rays and turtles.

The Tobago Cays offer a variety of kitesurfing spots. We will kite on James Bay and Petite Tabac.

We will also visit the isolated beach on Petite Tabac where the desert island scene in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl” was filmed.

Day 6Union Island & Happy Island

Union Island is the Kite center of the Grenadines. We will get mooring at Clifton Harbor. Welcome to the center of kiting community here. Kite at  Big  Sand, where  JT Pro center school is located and  at Frigate spot on the Union Island. Enjoy the vibe of kitesurfing community from around the world at JT Pro center lounge.

Clifton Harbor is a bustling area with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. We will visit the shark collection in the pool at the Anchorage Hotel. We can hike to the summit of Mount Parnassus, which is 900 feet above sea level with a Matterhorn-like pinnacle.

After a day of water activities, head to Happy Island for yummy cocktails and well deserved party time!

Day 7Union Island & Palm Island

Start your day with another kite session at the Union island and then set sails again. One of the pleasures of sailing in the Grenadines is that it doesn’t take long to get to the next scenic anchorage.

After a short and pleasant sail, you will feel like a millionaire on your own private Palm Island! This island is also the proud possessor of one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Caribbean. Casuarina Beach is beautiful and has a lovely beachside restaurant.

Day 8Morpion Island & Petit St Vincent

Mopion is a tiny spit of sand  very close (1/2 hour’s sail from the Union Island) from Union island. This uninhabited piece of paradise is almost too cliché to be true. Pristine white sand with a lonely umbrella surrounded by clear, calm water near a reel with abundance of sea life. Mopion is an amazing kiting spot.

In the afternoon we will sail to PSV. This southernmost of the St Vincent Grenadines is a beautifully landscaped resort surrounded by white sandy beaches. We will have dinner at the restaurant on top of the hill and take in the stunning views.

Day 9Bequia & Petite Nevis

Bequia is a paradise complete with quiet lagoons, gorgeous reefs and long stretches of picture perfect beaches. This island is beautifully lush and intimate. We will sail around the western end of Bequia passing Moonhole, an architectural wonder made from rocks. Spend the day at one of Bequia’s golden beaches or snorkel at Devil’s Table, loaded with fish and coral.

Our afternoon promises to be a delightful mix of oceanic adventures and culinary delights, as we anchor at the picturesque Petite Nevis for some snorkeling and lunch. This charming island boasts a rich history of seafaring traditions, and its sandy beaches are known for being the birthplace of wooden schooners. Moreover, they are  crafted on the island to this day. Immerse yourself in the island’s unique nautical culture as you explore its crystal-clear waters.

Day 10St Vincent

In the morning we will sail back to St Vincent and spend all day onshore. There are many exciting onshore excursions to choose from. We encourage you to spend the day exploring the island YOUR way. We love to hike La Soufriere Cross Country Trail. It winds its way from sea level up to the top of the majestic La Soufriere Volcano (4048ft/ 1178m).

Vincent’s natural beauty is on full display along this hike, which spans the island’s width and takes hikers on a journey through dramatic granite cliffs, lush valleys, and steep gorges before culminating at the massive volcanic crater. While the trek to the crater is moderately challenging and requires about two hours of uphill hiking from the windward side, the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding land and seascape are well worth the effort.

Day 11St Vincent

It’s a busy day as we put the final touches to packing for home, taxi to the airport and check in for our flights home. We know the friends and family back home can’t wait to hear more about your adventures but we are sad to leave our crew behind. Next year is only 365 days away!
